Hi,
I'm new to this site and seeking help on an issue that I don't understand.
My GLC has just failed its MOT due to 'Offside Front Suspension arm ball joint excessively worn spring link'. Last year, it failed the MOT due to 'Offside Front Lower Suspension arm ball joint excessively worn SPRING LINK'. When challenged, the dealership stated that the arm ball joint and spring link are separate parts. Yet, when checking the invoice, the same parts code have been used for both (MA205 330 67 10). Surely, this would be covered by the 2 year parts warranty?
I hope that someone out there can help? Thank you

They might well consider those as wear and tear parts .....check the small print of you warranty to see if rubber joints and ball joints are covered.

Just take your previous invoice and service records and talk to the dealer directly. Ask them to explain why the same part failed again after only a year, and why it’s not being covered under warranty.
