battery size..??

Hi there folks - i hope you're keeping warm..!!
I need a battery for my 2012 E63, the measurements on all suppliers websites are 353mm x 175mm x 190mm but when I roughly measure (without removing the battery) the OEM one in my car it's smaller - will the 353mm wide fit the battery tray - the OEM one already looks like a tight fit.
I don't want to order one only to find it doesn't fit but as mentioned, all suppliers have the above sizes so maybe i've got an out of date tape measure..

Have you approached your local dealership? They are often very competitive on price and you know you'll get the correct battery.
My dealer also fitted FOC

Well take car to a place that sells batteries and ask them to fit you one in ,,, we cant advise you without looking at the battery carrier

No it won't . Yours will be nearer 315 mm that's LENGTH .

I appreciate that, was just asking if anyone had the size to hand to save me removing & measuring - doesn't matter now as my local dealer has an OEM battery in stock for a half decent price & i'm picking it up tomorrow.

Online battery websites are gash . Tanya especially!! You can't beat a tape measure tbh.
