Hi guys...

I've ordered this bilstein b12 kit:

E90-25-008-02-22

I understand that this particular kit is not listed for sports suspension packages or so I've been led to believe. I don't know whether to send it back or embrace it as I'm finding the current standard sports suspension a bit harsh. Can anyone comment on whether this will fit my car and whether my ride height will go higher?

Sounds a rush decision !
Billy's are usually a nominal - 30mm which means 10-15mm lower than Sport .

How many miles ?

Probably weak original dampers .

springs determine ride height .

The car is sitting on 110k... i don't know if the dampers have ever been done before. We did have them off the car, they seemed ok? I know i need to get xl tyres as well but i really don't want to feel holes in the road anymore or as much... my mate has a lexus gs450h and I'd say that's as perfect as it gets round town where you're prone to hitting pot holes. It soaks em up like a charm and I'm finding my current set up a bit harsh. I don't mind going softer, they're b8 bilsteins afterall and they're as part of the package with eibach springs. I just don't want my car sitting higher than anything it came out the factory as... for those who are unaware, the bilstein b12 packages consist of bilstein b8 dampers and eibach springs.

The poor ride quality is down to the dampers , at 110K of Zebedee shananigans they might look OK and not weap but their performance will have seriously dropped off .
