Hats off to this entrepreneur, dropped out of Uni to pursue career in motor trade at a very young age. Namz recently brought a GT63s from salvage auction, which needs an engine rebuild, not something a local indie would take on. Good luck to him and his business.

Count me in!.....and I've not been a professional for over 25 years! Just finished an E46 M3 lump with a spun bearing...pretty straight forward engine to work on compared to a V8 though. The extra beer money comes in useful...... :)

I'm about to do an M54b30 that has failed oil control rings, as soon as I find the time. Probably very similar to the S54

I agree, well done to him, but lots of us will happily do engine rebuilds, including me and WGMB (and I'm sure others)
I was 18 years old when I took a Honda CB750 engine out of the bike and up to my bedroom, totally stripped it and rebuilt it. One of the apprentice mechanics at the local Honda dealers heard what I was doing and asked if he could come up and see it as he'd never seen an engine stripped and rebuilt. He was coming up for his final exams and had never ever seen anyone do this!

S54 is iron block, M54 is aluminium block. Just sayin’
