I bought a new air duct housing with the two gaskets on both ends for MAF and TB.
I had it replaced recently.
I also had my airbox and both air filters cleaned from debris with pressurized air.
Last year I replaced all my vacuum hoses and had both valve cover gaskets replaced as they were getting old.
After the replacement parts has been fitted, now my rev needle is very stable on stationary, it was also stable before.
Car drives very well and is strong like an ox, fast like a japanese Bullit train, growls like a lion from the AMG pipes!
Now!
Driving like an old fart @ strictly legal speeds, I notice my fuel gauge needle is dropping kinda fast???
Why is that?
I always use the AC.
I never drive with open windows for fuel economy.
I like to drive fast and I know that fuel consumption will increase a lot which is normal with a heavy right foot on an LHD car.
Could it be that bad those replaced wear and tear vacuum parts now show a more accurate fuel consumption?
My car was not a lush before.
I was thinking of replacing my sparkplugs next year.
Maybe they will improve the fuel consumption?
