Old news but just a recommendation. I bought a D6 box on eBay for a W164 gambling it would be fine in my S211. Confirmed - they are all the same (for 320 CDI at least). Shaved 1s off my not scientific 0-60 and has big pull at illegal speeds.
Best news is the fuel economy bump. I have almost never seen > 40mpg, but on the 50 mile run back from the airport today averaging 63mph (cruise set at 77), with some dry/some rain, I had 44mpg. That is a BIG improvement.
