Brabus prepared upgrade program for the 2013 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG
The modified G-Class will be exhibited at this year's Essen Motor Show which starts Saturday. Power comes from the same twin-turbo V8 5.5-liter engine but it has been tweaked to produce 620 HP (456 kW) compared to the standard 544 HP (400 kW). The torque figure has also gone up to 605 lb-ft (820 Nm) whereas the standard G63 AMG delivers 560 lb-ft (760 Nm).
Other changes include an electronically adjustable Ride Control suspension with comfort and sport modes, along with an adjustable valve-controlled exhaust for a louder or quieter sound.
In this video we get to see how the Widestar G63 is differentiated. It includes a new set of 23-inch alloy wheels, LED illumination for the side steps, satin silver color accents in the side body mouldings, rear bumper fascia and an aerodynamic front spoiler also in silver with integrated LEDs.
Inside the cabin it gets new leather upholstery and improved materials that are available in a wide variety of colors.
