So, the locking mechanism works as should but make a loud buzzing noise when the door is unlocked which I presume is caused by broken/worn cogs or a broken spring in the door lock actuator?
1. Are repairs possible? I know an issue with some other models is caused by a broken spring inside the actuator, for which there's a repair kit available, but none shown for the W212. No doubt the problem is down to something costing a few pence and would save £90 plus for a new actuator!
2. Is A2047201535 the correct part number for the actuator?
