I have a 2000 CLK230 W208 Cabriolet. The central locking has stopped working. I have checked all the fuses and they are all okay. When I press the lock button nothing happens. When I press unlock the lights flash once but will not unlock car when doors are locked. When I open roof the windows go down but when I activate switch it just flashes quickly and nothing happens. I think these two problems are connected as about two weeks ago when I got in the car and pressed the lock button the c/l worked so I tried the roof and that also worked as it should. I left roof open for a few hours and when I went to close it, nothing so I had to close it manually and no c/l working again. I did have problems last year with locking. I could lock car and when I came back to unlock it would not unlock. I had to disconnect battery and leave it for a while and when I reconnected it would work fine but disconnecting battery now has no effect. Hope there is someone who can help. Thanks in advance.
