Hey everyone...Been on this forum for god knows how long and I don't think I've posted anything over here yet...

But I was just doing a full fix up for my newly acquired 1993 500SEC till it took me around 2 months to find out what is the manufacturer of the bumper is as it looks quite differently and I will be posting up some pictures as well.

Anyhow, I really want to know a couple of stuff about my car which would be.

1) I haven't really weighed my car yet but is it true that the car actually weighs 2600KG?
2) How rare is the Almandine Red Metallic paint job on my car's model?
3) How rare is the front AMG bumper on my car?
4) Does AMG also make a rear bumper and sideskirts for this car and where will I be able to acquire it?
5) What's the manufacturer name of the rear spoiler? There seems to be an engraving under the wing but I really can't read it.
6) Is there any engine modifications by AMG for this car, I've heard that the CL600 had some AMG upgrades here and there but those are ridiculously rare with their bodykits as well.
7) Is there any Brabus modifications and will I be able to actual source them out (as well as the AMG)
8) Is there any other company out there with modification steps
9) IF not what could an individual do to actually be able to modify this motor. 315HP is nice but it's not really enough.
10) I don't have an ASR disengage button but is there anyway that I will be able to disconnect the ASR? If someone thinks about the front fuse box, at some point of the car's life someone has stolen the manual it or it was lost.

Front bumper is very rare and cost a lot,i`ve got e new one for sale BTW
Yes you can get full AMG kit but is hard to find
I don`t think you can get engine mods for your car,if you need more power get a supercharger
The rear spoiler looks like Lorinser
Not much you can do about the ASR

If you're able to seek me a full AMG kit, I'd be grateful.

I know there were Brabus mods for the SEL, why wouldn't they do anything on the newer models? I guess they're just too hard to find as well.

Yea, the stamp under the spoiler has an L at first but REALLY hard to read the rest.. So, I'll just assume it's Lorinser till I take it off for repainting.

Btw, one more question..

I'm looking at BBS RC rims, I might get my hands on them. Are those rims extremely rare as well because that's what I heard. I might fit them on this car or on the C240, not quite sure yet.

I was just going to mention that those CLS aloys,don`t look right on your car

Yea, I know...I pretty much hate them... I got the car with those rims and they are in bad condition. but it definitely beats the stock ones which are those..

Btw, those rims look a WHOLE lot better on the W124... It could look better on the C140 but I think it needs something like 20"...Those are too small, ugly and Japanese looking on this big car.

I just wish that the previous owner of the car could turn back the time and made the whole thing into an AMG!
