If you mean cdi's then the 200 has 136 bhp and the 250 has 204. The in between 220cdi has 170 bhp.

Enjoy your car.

Is CGI

If its UK spec can't say I've seen a C200 CGI

DE18LA (M271Evo, 271.8XX)

This is the last version of M271 engine family. Dimensions are the same as E18ML and DE18ML, but the supercharger has been replaced with a turbocharger; like the DE18ML it uses the CGI (Stratified Charged Gasoline Injection) gasoline direct injection. Output ranges from 156 PS (115 kW) at 5200 rpm to 204 PS (150 kW) at 5500 rpm.

Applications:

2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W204) C 180 CGI, C 200 CGI, C 250 CGI
2009 Mercedes-Benz E-Class (W212) E 200 CGI, E 250 CGI
2009 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupé (C207) E 250 CGI

C 200 CGI 2011-2014 1,796 cc (110 cu in) 16V I4 turbo (M 271 DE 18 AL) 184 PS (135 kW; 181 hp)@5250, 270 N·m (199 lb·ft)@1800

C 250 CGI 2011-2015 1,796 cc (110 cu in) 16V I4 turbo (M 271 DE 18 AL) 204 PS (150 kW; 201 hp)@5500, 310 N·m (229 lb·ft)@2000-4300

The CGI engines are turbocharged unlike the earlier indirect injection Kompressor engines. They are the same displacement so I imagine the difference is in engine mapping= turbo boost and injection [ possibly slightly larger injectors/turbo ??] It would probably be fairly easy to increase the C200 to near C250 levels with a remap.

The latest CGI petrol engines post 2014 are different as they are 1,991 cc

The C200 CGI has 181BHP 270NM of torque.
The C250 CGI has 201BHP and 310NM of torque.

Much better answer above lol

You both are great on Benz specs. Salute. But CGI engine is much better and less problem compare to the kompressor. And CGI is powerful. By the way, how to well maintain a c class. So I could avoid high maintenance in future.

Regular changes of oil and oil filter. Use good quality MB recommended oil
Mercedes-Benz Specifications for Operating Fluids: Engine Oil, Gear Oil, ATF, Coolant, Brakefluid
spec sheet 223.2 pdf
I would use an oil that meets MB 229.5 spec see the pdf for suitable choice of manufacturers.

With CGI injection systems I would be inclined to use a high quality [super unleaded ] 98 RON fuel if available and pay particular attention to changing any fuel filters at the recommended intervals.

I have a feeling the 200CGI was never offered in the UK at that time only the 180CGI and 250CGI
