C204 220 Steering Rack Replacement

Halfords told me I need a new steering rack. The gaitors are twists and fluid is leaking there’s also a horrible whining noise when turning the wheel.

I’m struggling to be able to find a steering rack that isn’t through Mercedes for £2500. I have found this but I’m not sure whether it will fit ELSTOCK Steering Rack | GSF Car Parts

This is the only one I’ve been able to find that isn’t through Mercedes so if it doesn’t fit I’m not sure what to do. Anyone able to advise if this would work? Or where to find one that does?

A warranty.

Get someone that knows your car to fit it.
