Hi,
My E250 has been in storage for almost six months and was started weekly by my brother with a chase down the road every month and at the end of September l took ownership of the car once again and everything was fine until Friday. During a reasonably smooth drive down a dual carriage way it suddenly lost power and went into 'limp home mode'. It wouldn't rev up top speed was an erratic sixty miles àn hour and gear changes were limited. The car wouldn't accelerate and at one wouldn't rev above tick. A friend of mine loaned me his code reader and provided fault codes of P2279 (air intake leak) P0236 ( boost sensor A circuit range) P0229 (turbo underboost).
I have had problems in the past around twelve months ago and changed the turbo boost pipe and also the two manifold/intake sensors but these problems seem slightly different. Does anybody have ant thoughts on these issues and what could be causing these issues.
