not entirely sure about this. Clearly looks a decent, low miles car but a "proper" special edition?
The only F1 cars I know are the SL of the same era.
I did read about the F1 medical car spec, apparently 9 were made, 3 for the F1 races, 3 for the ring and 3 for sale. No idea if this is true or if this is one of them.
Apparently the battery is in the back in this spec. Late cars have the paddles anyway.
It has no parking sensors so not top spec
Odd, could be real but I've never heard of them.

All the pictures of the F1 Medical cars I've seen are a) Silver and b) are bodykitted.
No idea if this was carried over to the 'retail' cars.

Edit -
OK, maybe not all had bodykits:

There does seem to be something out there - note the odd front bumper. Interestingly the 2 pics above of the medical car, one has this bumper, one does not

The front bumper on these cars were supposed to have additional oil coolers fitted.

Not certain on the 203 ‘55 but that was the case on the other 55 F1/pace car/medical car spec cars ‘030/performance package’ of this era with that design of bumper.

I’d be interested in the other details because it seems unlikely to be 400hp to me. I thought the earlier NA 5.4 AMG V8s were 347hp and the later cars with the NA 5.4 (like the C55) with electric cooling fans etc were about another 20hp (367hp). Where does the extra 33hp come from? That’s quite a lot to gain on a NA engine.

The performance pack cars should all have the six piston front brake calipers like the R171 SLK55. This car doesn’t, which makes me suspicious that this car just has SLK55 facelift steering wheel paddles fitted, and is a looky-likey

Do they have the two piece/split rim wheels as well?

Someone needs to check the build spec from the VIN if they’re seriously interested. I’m sceptical! :)

Yes, I believe so. Limited slip diff too from memory, but I’d have to check that

Quick google found this…

I didn’t know about the exhaust manifolds, an interesting thing

Details in that link suggest this car is perhaps not what it is purported to be

Other nerd fact, engine in that linked c55PP was built by Sandro Petricca, same guy who built my C32 engine. Made me smirk anyway.

I was looking for that again, found it earlier and then couldn't.
That and the one I posted in the US look the real deal. I think they must be LHD, as per the F1 cars so sadly this one doesn't appear to that.
Looks a lovely car but "just" a stock c55?

This car also sold at auction for 57500 euros so were the ebay car to be real it's a steal!

I think going by it having the wrong wheels, bumper, brakes etc it’s probably just a regular C55 estate car.

Maybe one of the previous owners remapped it and removed the limiter, but that adds nothing to its value.

Badges on the tailgate bug me too
