- 2017 E220d AMG Premium Plus (no longer: 2009 C63 Performance Pack), 2020 Tesla Model 3 Performance
Hi folks,
I picked up a 67-plate W213 estate (so S213) Premium Plus with widescreen cockpit last weekend.
The car is otherwise awesome... but CarPlay is problematic. Two issues:
1) When running Waze, the speed is shown in km/h but labelled And treated as mph. This means that when you’re doing 60mph in a 60 limit, it shows as ~100 and flashes up telling you you’re speeding.
2) After about 15 mins running (typically with Waze, I haven’t tested with other apps) it starts getting quite laggy - position is shown about 15 secs behind. Then the image starts to glitch and break up. Then eventually the whole system crashes.
I’m running iOS 13.1.2 on an iPhone 7 Plus. And according to Mercedes Me, the software on the car is up to date.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
