Well after 4 years of ownership the time has come to let the CL go to another home,after buying the S500 6 months ago I've driven it very rarely and having decided that at my age 4 doors are the way to go up for sale is probably one of the greatest engines ever made with a comfortable good looking well equipped car thrown in for good measure.
2003 RV03KHF please check the MOT History/HPI no nasty surprises here.
Just turned 70,000 miles was 62,000 miles when I bought it back in 2015 may increase very slightly but not by much.
Overall condition I would describe as very good for its 16 years not mint but certainly presents well and still draws admiring looks and positive comments.
Since owning the car I have replaced the following:-
Full gearbox service and electrical harness plug
Engine Oil+Filter changes x4
Antifreeze flush and replace
Fuel filter
Boot struts
Mirror indicator lenses
Upgraded Bosch inter cooler pump
Set of spark plugs and insulators
Both ignition coils(very expensive)
Auxiliary belt and pulleys
Set of Pirelli P Zeros
Front and Rear Discs and Pads
Brake pad sensors
Brake fluid flush and replace
Pollen filter
Battery(recently replaced under warranty)
All ABC suspension accumulators
Fluid flush and rodeo
ABC vibration damper pipe(bloody nightmare to fit)
Drivers side door mirror unit
Secondary air recirculation pump
Both lower front suspension arms
Front ball joints
Rear brake pipe
Alarm siren
Radiator/aircon fan assembly
ViseoMBU3000 Bluetooth module
Car went to MSL in Birmingham in 2015 and had a Eurocharged remap to the engine ECU and recorded 656bhp and 804 ft lbs torque (dyne sheet to prove)what this means in real terms is 550bhp to the wheels also as part of the package the 155 limiter was removed
Eurocharged TCU remap giving you amongst other improvements full manual control over the auto box
Car has 18" AMG wheels which although very tidy would benefit from a refurb in the next 12 months or so paintwork polishes up very nicely interior has no rips tears of burns never smoked in whilst with me always had over mats on carpets.
Aircon works fine and has never required topping up although was recharged when fan was changed.
ABC suspension works as it should with no warning lights the 2 height settings and sport mode work as they should.
I have 2 working keys theses are the newer type so although the central locking works fine the satellite locking is not supported by these later keys.
No issues with the Command system CD Radio etc all work as they should obviously the TV no longer works as the analogue signal is no longer broadcast I did buy a cheapy digital tuner off eBay which worked to a degree but gave up after 18 months so was removed
Car has a good spec with full heated/cooled massaging electric seats fridge, distronic etc all of which work fine I've included the chassis number if anyone would like to do a build sheet check WDB2153762A037555
Car is MOTd till April but I would be prepared to put through a new MOT if asking price is met
Log book is present and in my name at my address I have all the receipts for the work mentioned above the original handbook pack and service book which has a mix of dealer and specialist stamps.
I'm not looking to take a p/ex as the replacement car has already been bought also I'm a busy man and don't really respond well to time wasters so if you need to check your insurance/bank balance ask the wife's permission see your mates one that's half the price and twice as good sell your own car etc etc etc please do this before anything else.
No it won't have the same running costs as a Ford Focus but I genuinely don't think there's any way to get the feeling of such under stressed power and comfort for the money.
