Hello guys,
i have a Mercedes Cla 200 with auto gearbox, and i have a problem when I accelerate(kick down), the car looses some traction, ESP light On, and after this the car is underpowered, the car runs like it is in Limp Mode.
I thought the problem was from the TCU, i had a similar problem with an Audi A3 DSG, so i changed the gearbox with another one(there was also mechanical problem with the gearbox due the fact that previous owner didnt changed the flywheel).
Intake was cleaned, egrs cleaned, turbo checked, the only error code i have is from the exhaust flap, should this flap cause this problem?
Cheers.

Exhaust flap not fully opening would make the car underpowered upon acceleration hence is very likely causing the issue you are having.

Yeah exhaust flap is more than likely cause of the lack of power, very pricey though!

ok, but whats importance of this exhaust flap? my error is not continuous, is intermittent.
i think i'll remove from the car, and make dtc off from ecu for that error, what do you guys think?

Exhaust flap controls exhaust backpressure for the turbo on diesels so not sure how it's gonna make the car run by deleting it
