Cls 320 cdi Re map

I have just bought a lovely 2005 cls 320 cdi. Is it worth getting a re map?
also if I do. Do I keep the dpf of remove it?

Worth - no. Fun - yes. DPF - keep (who knows when MOT really starts following them...).

Why would you want to tamper with emissions devices?
Its there for a reason
If you drive reasonably motorway journeys dpf should not be an issue

If you remove it, its an instant MOT fail ...whether it passes emissions or not....so as said not something I would risk these days....then there's the £1000 fine if you are caught on the road without it.....
