hi i have code on my sprinter 2007 315 cdi and can't clear it, it's been there for a week now. i have replaced maf sensor but still in limp mode any help appreciated
stue

1955 seems to point to glow plugs and relay.

hi thanks for the reply. i have unplugged glow plug relay and tested each terminal and get 12v at each. the engine starts fine with the glow plug light going out within a couple of seconds so they seem ok

That fault wouldn't cause limp mode . Its something else. Have you access to a scanner ?

yes also get p0101

thanks for getting back. i have renewed maf sensor and also ran with it disconnected just drives in limp mode, no turbos spinning up. also tried it with the other sensor on air box disconnected and just drives the same. scratching my head now

Do you get turbo on start up or by switching the car off then back on ?

hi i neither turbo cutting in at all, i can normally here them. on a level surface i can reach about 45mph in about a full minute
as soon as i hit an incline down thro the gears and down to 25, it feels like 10hp
thanks

Hi mate just made an account on here to ask if you got to the bottom of this I have this issue right now... On my way back from a 200mile trip litterally 1mile from home as my speed reduced I lost power and went into limp mode. No eml light just drove the remaining mile home slowly, turned it off and started again and I had a flashing eml light and still no power, anyway p0101 and p1955 are the 2 fault codes my scanner is bringing up, I've tried what was suggested to you unplugging maf and made no difference. I can't even clear the codes... I found the pip from turbo to air box was loose and I am guessing this is what caused this and have now tightened that back up. ( when I first plugged my scanner in after arriving home I had the code "2623 charge air system offset drift at idle" this has not returned and also glow plug cylinder 1 which hasn't come back on. I have a deeper sound as you described from exhaust too. Did you get to the bottom of it. I don't want to try a million things til I get to the issue causing it. Regards Tom
