Hi all
Yesterday I replaced the rotary scroll shaft on my c204 (2011). Pretty simple job. Despite the shaft being exactly the same length the screw would not reach the thread on the shaft after assembly I bought the following from Amazon (see attachment). The scroll wheel now works but I can take the wheel off with a little tug which is not ideal. Unfortunately, I could not source a replacement screw.
Are the shafts all different sizes for the different model cars, I would estimate that the screw is 25mm and a few mm needed to reach the thread of the shaft.
Can anyone advice on a replacement shaft or where I could source a screw from?
