Convertible Roof

I make sure the lid in the boot is down but when I press the button inside the car it says it's not! The garage I purchased the car from said it something to do with the netting on the sides blocking the sensors? I tried moving these about and it worked but now its stopped again Any ideas and where are the sensors? Thanks

there is a micro switch near the pull down hinge point, check that you can hear it click. Also make sure the plastic hinge pins are ok; its not unusual to find one of these broken

Thanks.. I'll have a look. Is the switch on the left or right side as your looking into the boot?

For some reason I think its on the left as you look in the boot but its been awhile since I had this issue
