Hi Guys, has anyone got any experience in putting C63 Coupe seats into CLK W209, current seats are all electric and heated, like wise the C63 seats are also all electric and heated so with this in mind what are the pitfalls to fitting them, I have actually seen the same interior fitted into a CLK63 Black series replica and they look excellent and really suited the car. I have said to my friend I will help if I can but I thought I would ask on the forum as there is very little you members have not done at one time or another, I will be honest the interior is beautiful and actually its better than whats in mine, just has far more modern look anyway I digress so can any of you forum members assist with this issue, greatly appreciated if you can help or point me in the direction of someone who can.

I believe w207 seats are direct fit

Hi guys!
I fitted and wired the w207 front and back seats but the memory options won't work or I'm not sure if the w207 seats I fitted were a memory option seats. Other wise all works heating and air pads. A brackets fabrication required to fit them in w208 but direct fit to w209 as far as I know.

Does anyone know if Seat Airbags lights will need programmed to the new car or like wise airbag lights need re-set on dash.

Thanks

Afternoon All, Im busy helping a pal fit some C63 Coupe seats W204 into CLK W209, the seats sit on the rail and can be bolted straight in the issues is the wiring plugs are totally different so can anyone help at all, the front seats in the W209 are all electric and heated with seat control on the doors, likewise the C63 are all electric with the seat control on the doors also, both have memory option and both have heat seat button on the dash but the wiring looks different so my question is can anyone help by giving me the wiring diagram for both cars, is that possible to get, I would be extremely grateful for any help with this problem.

Thanks Very Much In Advance.

These are seat adjustment wiring diagrams for W209 and 204.377. Cannot seem to get to the upper control panel diagram which controls the seat heating. May help identify at least some of the wires/connections.

Erm, the first attached file in post #12 is for a W204.377 which is, I think a C63 coupe.

I am ever so sorry bud, I didnt realise, thanks again this will really come in helpful, these seats are a mile from plug and play, they sit on the rails in the correct location but thats where the easy bit stops lol.

I am pretty sure ( i asked merc today ) the seats have to be coded it as i am putting C63s race seats in to my C63 as it was specd with comfort seats.

Just wondering if you made any headway with this. I just got some C63 seats with view to fitting them to my CLK500. Its looking like I've bitten off more than I can chew!

You can make everything work except the memory function. I guess it needs to be coded

Thats very helpful and interesting, I never use the memory function anyway. Do you have any idea of an auto electrician who could do this?
