Are there any cheap fixes to these 2 common problems with the W209 CLK:

1) Clicking behind dashboard on start up from the airblower start up process (am ok to lose the directability on the air blowers just dont want to get into taking the dahsboard out)

2) "lock Passenger seat" warning. Theres nothing impeding the underseat microswitch, I just need to get the seat controls working so I can properly get into the back seat.

Thanks for the advice

1. Nope. Needs to be plugged in to see what motor is causing the problem. Its usually a blend flap that jams up. 9/10 is a dash out job. I have done about 10 of them.
2. Plugging in will enable you to see if the switch is working properly. Then go from there.

Do you know of any instructions or video on how to take out a CLK500 dashboard?

Nope. Just start unhbolting stuff and it will come apart. they are not difficult, just time consuming. You get about 9 hours book time and I can usually do them in 4 now.
