I've got both Blackvue and Viofo cams in our cars.
Not had a problem with either and image quality is pretty decent.

I have BlackVue cameras in our cars. I don’t think there’s much to choose between the brands. If you have multiple cars then it’s worth buying the same models so you can use the same app for simplicity. It’s also worth looking for cameras which broadcast a wifi signal which you can connect to from your phone to view footage.

I've got thinkwares but viofo seems the sweetspot for price and quality

I second Viofo, always found it to be decent.
