Display screen INOP all of a sudden

Good morning,

I hope you're all well.

Car- C class coupe 2014 W204

All of a sudden from last week my display screen has stopped working completely, so unfortunately I've got no radio, Bluetooth or anything.. I had noticed before hand it used to just turn on and off randomly at some points like it was resetting, now it don't come on at all. I did also notice the other night the "ON" button in the middle of the volume knob was flashing constantly (Could this be a fuse?)

What i have tried is tearing the dash apart and taking the screen out and just pressing the two cables on the back of the screen but no luck. Before i order a new screen anyone got any suggestions please? I.E. fuses or so.

I found with my 204 that the occasional electrickery gremlins like wipers suddenly not wiping or indicators not indicating was always down to the relevant fuse in the underbonnet fuse box. They were never blown, but a simple removal and replacement of said fuse cured the issue. No idea why; maybe moisture related (even though the fuse box lid has a weatherproof seal on it.)
Worth a try.

Hi Mate ,

good point, ive treied removing and re-seating the fuse but no luck. I think i may pop to Halfords this morning and pick a pack of fuses up, they don't look blown at all, I've tried replacing the with the fuses of the same amp from other locations as a trial and error but still didn't work.

I did notice the ON button flashing continusoly but i know that it means at all.
