This car looks too good to be true, does anyone know it? Pardon our interruption...
He is asking £9500 and has a dubious invoice (no letterhead or VAT) for £7500 for panels, welding and a full external respray in a gorgeous colour. Photos look stunning.
Just after the work it passed the MOT but although half the exhaust had been renewed and both front wings (and a lot of other metal), it had advisories which include the exhaust and an inner front wing.
He describes it to me as "full resto" but admits sunroof seals are unchanged and the interior is a bit poor, with the drivers seat shown as needing a new cover.
Seller also describes himself as Private yet has 2 other Mercedes currently being marketed. One is a rusty dog which the MOT history suggests this beautiful looking coupe was last year. I love it but am terrified that it has had too cheap makeover, does anyone know the car and know it's true condition ?
MOT history also suggests to me that it was rarely maintained in the last 15 years, just repaired after each MOT.

Head says run a mile, I have been stung 3 times before by rust buckets sprayed up beautifully for sale!
