Hi all,
I have a p244a code on my Vito. I was hoping to replace the sensor myself. Do I need to do any coding with this or replace the wiring loom? I’ve been reading that this is needed on other cars but not Mercedes.

i was just hoping to swap the sensor for fault diagnosis

Hi. I have the same fault code... Changed the sensor... Same thing, same fault.

Check the wiring for the sensor, usually breaks where the cable ties are on the brake lines

Thanks Oleks, will see it today. Need to lift a car than :(
Nah you dont need to lift the car mate, look where dpf sensor is on left side of the engine and just follow the wiring down the brake lines as wiring should be clipped on with plastic locators onto actual brake lines, unravel the insulation and check for breakage 👍

Hi. Thanks for advice
I have opened bonnet, checked those pipeworks, than, anyway I have dotted welding stitch on dpf.... Very sad, the car is only 8 years old... Why so e one do e it... Of course, main reason for getting a chanse be chip tuned on stage 2. But... 8 years old... Unbelievable.

So I thinking to get the used dpf and swap them or get chip tuned back on stage two. Another problem, how to find popper cip tuner, not a dodge garage gurus (((
