Driver door lockcase......

300TE - Driver door lockcase is 'stuck', key does not turn to lock or unlock! Pulled barrel out by turning allen-key in door edge but no joy - there is a small spring at the stalk behind barrel which is just hanging loose and one locking end has snipped off. Otherwise door close/open operates fine along with the central locking.

With a spring if one end has come off, I put a thin knife into the last coil and bend it open , this forming a new loop, then hook it back.
