Hi folks,
Whilst i understand how to adjust the multi-contour seating in the car via the dials at the side of the seats, is there an option anywhere that allows for the side bolsters to tighten as you're cornering etc? I had this function on my CLS500, as I'd fitted AMG seats, but can't seem to find this option on the CLS63?:wallbash:

Would this option be controlled via COMAND - Vehicle - Seat Settings - Dynamic Multicontour Seat

There are 3 buttons on the inner side of the seat on my c63 of which one of those does that

If the adjusters on the seats are thumb-wheels, then you have the Multi-Contour seats. The bolsters only tighten when cornering if you have the Dynamic Multi-Contour seats which have adjuster tabs, not thumb-wheels. On the Dynamic Multi-Contour seats you can switch between dynamic function off, or on with two levels of sensitivity, by way of the "Dyn" button on the seat control.

You won't find them. The seats are set through COMAND on non-AMG models with Multi-Contour seats; on AMG models - such as the CLS63 - the controls are on the seat.

Ah, i see. OK so i have all the control wheels on the seat set to maximum. when cornering should I be feeling the side bolsters pulling in, or does the setting need to be turned down from max to medium as i don't feel anything ATM

As Phil posted above, maybe as you have the thumb-wheel adjusters you don't have the Dynamic seats? Were these an option on your model year?

Phil, just realized what you stated..... I have the wheels on the seat, so won't have the moving side bolsters i guess

Our posts just crossed. I'll leave this post though as a picture is worth many words!

Read my post #4, above. From your description of using "control wheels" to adjust the seat settings I believe that you have the more basic Multi-Contour seats that do not respond to cornering forces, rather than the Dynamic (sometimes called Active) Multi-Contour seats that do. The Dynamic seat adjusters look like those in this photo:
