I suddenly have an orange engine management light on the dash and the car has lost performance. It will start ok and run as long as I poodle about slowly. However when I put my foot down on the accelerator the engine doesn't pick up, and sometimes the gearbox seems to go into some limp home mode and I have to turn the ignition off and on again to reset it. I called the RAC who pluged it into their diagnostic laptop and gave me the below read out.
Can anyone offer advice on what to check for please ?
I am about to remove the air pipes going from the air filters to the turbo to make sure the turbo spins ok and there are no obvious blockages, but I have little knowledge (and little money at the moment) so Im only likely to spot something very obviously wrong. Any help \ advice would be very much appreciated. thanks Kev
