Hi everyone, I’ve done a little research, but not really found a definitive answer, is it true, to change a front indicator bulb, on a 2013 facelift E class coupe, the front bumper has to be removed? Thanks and merry Christmas to all. IMG_3215.jpeg

What are the instructions in the handbook?

I haven’t looked tbh, probably being a bit lazy, it’ll probably tell me to take it to a stealer. 😬

Those are nothing like the lights in my facelift . Mine were intelligent LEDs . Have a vin check on partsouq and check the schematics. You may have an. Access flap to remove in the wheel arch liner ??

Yeah, they are the standard fit lights , rather than the intelligent versions, thanks.

Upon further reading it appears that the front bumper does need to be removed, there is a flap in the arch liner for headlight bulbs apparently , possibly USA models ? .

Probably why mb changed the headlights in later year models.

Well the manual is in a cupboard, out in the utility and I’m sat on the sofa in the lounge, that’s two rooms away, I don’t want to over do it just before Christmas. 🤣

Page 132 when you do 👍

128, it only mentions being able to change the high beam H7 Bulb, nothing about the led low beam, or indicator, so I guess the bumper indeed, needs to come off, crazy just to change indicator bulbs. 🤪

Where did you read the bumper needs to be removed? WIS says up to MY 2014 on a 207 without 615/621/622 the turn signal bulb can be accessed via the service flap in the front fender liner (no need to remove the bumper).

I'm not familiar with the model and cannot identify the option code for lights from the photo, VIN would always help avoiding such ambiguity.

Mb world , but it's possible they didn't realise about the flap inside the arch liner I mentioned earlier. 👍

Yes I think it was MB world, I’ll have a proper look, when I fit new suspension arms, thanks.
