185 mph is pretty decent for an estate of that vintage. You'd want to be pretty sure of your tyres though!

I did 150 in a 993 between Dresden and Berlin, scared my passenger witless. If someone pulls out you are dead.

175 on my full power 89 Yamaha FZR1000EXUP and 186mph on my restricted Suzuki GSXR1000. Both in Germany. I can assure you that those sort of speeds on a bike is a lot more scary.......even though you get there a LOT faster and need much less space! Took two lanes to keep it pointed in the right direction and steering is very sensitive!! 160mph is the fastest I've been in a car on the road (a Turbo Technics tuned Sierra Cosworth 330 conversion.....it was a long time ago!).....cant say where for legal reasons!!!
I think the s211 was probably the only estate car offering an electronically operated cargo floor feature, could be wrong though. Weird feature to have but it was available along with the rear facing seats.
