E63 w212 m157 gearbox service

Don't rely on our guesses!
If you scroll down the listing in eBay, you will see a phone number for Listers Group Mercedes. Give them a call, they will take you reg No. and check on the Merc system that it is 100% correct, allowing you to order in confidence.

Also, don't forget you will need the sump drain plug adapter to allow you to pump the oil up into the gear box.
And of course, a pump/transfer pump of some sort to pump the fluid in via the drain hole.

At £134 for the parts, say £10-20 for the drain adapter, the cost of the transfer pump and tubing (unless you already have these), if your are a DIYer my personal preference is an independent Merc specialist. I'm having an ATF service on my 7G 722.9 gearbox on Friday for £220 (including VAT). Hardly worth crawling under the car and my time to save fifty quid in my personal situation.

£220 is a great price buddy .

I was over selling it slightly. It's actually £224.
I use them a lot and they know they've acquired a few long-term customers from my direct recommendations.
Maybe they've also taken pity on my doing my own service work this past month in the bitter, bitter cold so thought they would tempt me in with a great price!

Good shout on the Fuchs oils if it can be found at a good price. Looking at Mercedes BEVO, Fuchs Titan ATF 7134 FE is listed as Merc approved for MB 236.15 ATF fluid, and might even be OE fill for Merc in the factory!?

£224 ! What a ripoff , I would never pay that much  .
Yep I think Fuchs used to be factory fill when I did a lot of research years ago before my DIY adventures (summer only ) . I’ve been using it for years now on both cars .

£226 at MB -

That is a proper decent price from MB compared to people’s recent quotes of £350+

I can't get prices online from my local 1Group or whoever it is.
Edit: I can get prices for my local dealer, but I need to specifically go to the Mercedes Benz website online booking form. If I try to do it directly through the 1Group website, it lets me book, but I have to guess the price they will charge when I turn up to collect my car.
You can access the Merc site directly to see what you local dealer will charge here:
https://www.mercedes-benz.co.uk/passengercars/services/online-appointment-booking.html
I changed mileage to 79,000 to get it to bring up ATF service in the additional items price list, as mine is not due yet.

Prices added above by @Skd884 at Jan 2024 are probably Stratstone, who own Southend (it wasn't totally clear as I was reading the posts).

I thought I'd go online to the Stratstone Group's website and play around with some bookings (you can fiddle with mileage to bring up prices for various scheduled items).
Jan 2025 prices are very competitive!

My 722.9 service is £245 in Southend and £260 in Huddersfield as two random examples.
But brake fluid was £115 🤔
A services is £550
Unfortunately none near me, but they do have a good national spread if one is near you?
