ECU Remap Qn - B W246 - 2017 - 200 CDI (2143cc/136HP/7-Speed Auto)

Hi All -

Has anyone done a remap of the ECU on their B-Class (2017 / 2143cc / 136HP / 7 Speed Auto)? The VIN decode tells me that it is a detuned engine (M013 - ENGINE REDUCED PERFORMANCE), so thought of sprucing things up with a Stage 1 remap.

Some of the quote I am getting is a +31BHP / +70Nm increase and is costing around £250. Is this all I can get out with a remap?

Would there is a fuel efficiency improvement?

Anything I need to take care of, questions to ask the service engineer?

Do I need to look for engineers who guarantee their service? In-case any warning lights pops-up.

thanks @Gazwould, a dumb question.. if i get a stage 2 file, would I need special equipment to flash the ECU? Any good sources for such a file?
