Electrical problems, They may be discrete or linked in some way??!- any suggestions:-

1, I can only operate the electric seats and windows with the door open!!!

2, Wipers have stopped working. I rebuilt the headlamp washer motors recently and all the mechanical parts for screen and headlamp washers work.

3. Headlight flasher does not flash headlights, but the headlamps can be dipped as usual.

4. On some occasions the fuel pump does not jump into life when the ignition is switched on - so I cannot start the engine.

I am just hoping that someone out there can link it all together......
I have done the obvious thing of checking battery and engine to chassis earth leads.

Thanks,
Steve

Hmm, i wonder if it is an ignition switch issue, as the seats behave like that when you dont have the keys in it.

Also fuel pump suggests delay in knowing ignition is on.

Just throwing a few thoughts out, does not look like fuse or relays, as a lot of these items are on different ones.

Could be a blown fuse or possibly a control relay as later cars have a fuseway or part of the fuse box that is fed from the ignition, so the earlier cars may have a similar set up.
