Hi guys,
Hope everyone is keeping well. Just looking to see if anyone has any suggestions or potential advice about my issue.
(C200d, auto, 30k miles)
Over the last month with the cold weather (I'm assuming), my car has had a loss of power (won't go by 3000 revs). Switching off and on seems to sort it out, however the other day the engine management light illuminated and has remained on. I (stupidly) let the fuel run down, and was heading out and was going to fill it when this happened - again, power/kick down wasn't there when I started the car and began driving, and it was fine after switching off and on - but when I restarted the car the eml was on.
The car is booked in for a b1 service at main dealer and have added the diagnostic to it (first time merc owner, and have fell into the main dealership trap I know ), but I was just wondering if anybody knows if anything I've mentioned above may have triggered it?
Thanks in advance, and apologies again if I am asking questions previously asked, still fairly new to all the mod cons, particularly checking through the past forum posts.
Graeme
