Engine mounts

I'll shortly be needing to replace the engine and gearbox mounts on my S Class W221. Theses are currently showing as factory back order. Is there a decent alternative manufacturer or should I wait for OEM?

Lemforder are what you are looking for . They make them for MB . They have various factories around the world so don't be alarmed if the package says 'made in Turkey' .

Mine were fitted about 30K miles ago and still holding the big V8 engine up no problem.

Autodoc (bit slow to deliver sometimes) , ECP uk should be able to help.

Just make sure you get the correct ones . as I understand it some of them have different fluid inside but look identical on the outside (Maybach ?) . Aftermarket 'billet' silicone are available , no idea how good/bad they are.

Imagine how the bloke who picked up his 2023 C63 felt when he discovered it was built in South Africa and not Bremen in Germany , thats probably got Chinese engine mounts as well .
