Hello
Engine control unit is reporting following error: 146100 control deviation during rail pressure regulation too high.
On cold start, the gear changes at high RPM around 3,000 but the behavior changes once the engine becomes hot. However, gear changes at a higher than normal RPM and hesitates on coming to a stop. We have recently fixed a manifold inlet issue but simultaneously while fixing , this new issue came up. Therefore the mechanic believes that the air system is fixed however, the fuel system could take the blame but cannot pinpoint exactly where the problem could lie and going down that road would be very costly (to repair all fuel system components).
The car is a E350 Merc 2011. Can anyone suggest what we can do?
Regards
