Error Code P2459

Hi there, check engine light up did a quick check with OBD2 dongle and got error code P2459.

This seems to be the DPF either full or faulty, any tips to clear before going to garage and spending money.

2014 220CDI 170hp around 48k miles.

You could try driving it for an hour with some italian style tuning techniques. When was the oil last changed ?

And do you drive mostly long 20+ mile runs, or shorter journeys?

Interrupted DPF regens are a diesel engine killer.
