Error code problem

Hi i have problem with my c257 cls 350 4matic,
Car runs fine until i dont step harder on the gas , engine try to kick in but its jus a weird whistling sound (like from back exhaust )and car goes on kind of limp mode hi revs from 2000 to 3000 rpm on gears , paddle shifters doesnt work , check with carly and error code is (P238096 Generic communication fault code). Not any warning lights on dashboard , after restart car back to normal as long as i dont try to accelerate harder
Anyone know what is it ?

Unfortunately, generic OBDII codes don't reveal much, the car will need to go on MB STAR (or, if DIY, using iCarsoft or Carly etc).

My guess is the the TCU is losing communication which results in the tranny defaulting to limp mode.
