For info - display of local fuel prices on navigation screen is being withdrawn

I recently renewed the MB 'services' for our car and noticed that current prices were no longer being shown against fuel stations on the navigation map. I contacted Mercedes Me support today and they advised that this service has been 'sundowned' and cannot be renewed, so it will disappear as existing subscriptions expire.

It is probably because they pull the data from a third party entity and have probably not reached an agreement to continue the service. Shame as I always found the data surprisingly up to date and accurate.

Yep I assume they bought it from petrolprices.com or similar and they got greedy.

Hi , I found that the Mercedes services sell you one package and you receive an interior package !

They can't show you the fuel prices while driving due to health and safety. Recently, people have been known to faint at the sight of fuel prices..................

Well spotted BTB500. I have just renewed my MB maps for 3 years and wondered what had happened. It is very annoying that the features that some of us have used (and enjoyed) have been withdrawn. I wonder what other features will be lost over the next few years.

Today I noticed it has disappeared from my maps too!
