Looking at the configurator on the MBUK site, if you choose the Macchiato coloured interior on the forthcoming C-class you get a black headliner and when you try to choose the light colour headliner in the no-cost options you are changed back to the black leather seats, which I don't want.
I do wonder who makes this kind of decision which appear to defy all logic. The e-class configurator allows you to choose the headliner you want, regardless of your seat upholstery choice and my current macchiato interior E-class with light headliner is a pleasure to sit in and drive.
Can the headliner be changed later or is that just nuts?

PS One other off-putting choice is that all C-Class interiors - current and new - would appear to have a black covering to the back of the front seats - not too bad if you are happy with black leather but a strident discord when the rest of the upholstery is macchiato (beige).
