just had a phone call from mercedes of bolton offering me a free inspection,they will come out to you,spend about 45 mins on the car and then give you a free written condition report,all free
anybody else heard of this ?

I think this is a national promotion by Mercedes dealers , not restricted to Mercedes cars - they will inspect any make .

I imagine they hope you will want to have them rectify any shortcomings they highlight , thus drumming up some custom for their service departments .

Some time ago I took advantage of one of their free health checks at the dealer, needless to say it was a job creation scheme.

First thing they told me was that I needed to spend over £5000 + VAT in parts alone. You can imagine what I told them...........

Have they refurbished Brentford yet, or does it still look like it did 20 years ago? The new Audi showroom will overshadow them (literally!)

They're in the process of doing it up right now.

I don't think it'll be a patch on the spangly new Audi building, but we do have Mercedes-Benz World and all that it offers just a short drive away in Brooklands

Amazed its taken them so long, but MB World is far better than Audi, it will be just a glorified showroom rather than a actual family day out

well he came and did the inspection,gave the car the all clear except for the back tryes,funny that i thought ,as ive had um checked a few thousand miles ago,he said they where "dangerous",so i booked it into quick fit for some new nitrogen filled pirrelli pzero's,( kwik fit where by far the cheapest for the pzero's mercedes only tyre's ) the kumho's i had on were'nt the best.
