I have a mercedes A180d 64 reg
About 2 months ago I spilt water on the passenger seat ever since I have this warning( front left malfunction consult workshop) on the dash It can be closed off by pressing ok but comes back on when starting the car.
I've had the wires unplugged under the seat to check if any damp but none there.
Is this a seat passenger sensor problem or a simple turn off with a diagnostics?
Thanks in advance

Do you have heated seats?

Do you know if this a expensive fix for a dealer or a DIY job

I may need coding or re-setting on Star if this is the problem.

Firstly get it properly diagnosed, do you have a local MB Specialist who an look at it for you?

I had the exact same problem and had to get the seat sensory mat replaced as the water damaged it.. cost around £300 for labour and part at my local mb garage
