Hi I own a C180 AMG Sport Estate 2013. The car has been amazingly reliable over the past 8 years its a 1.6 petrol. Lately Ive been having the following issue.
When driving along at a constant speed and have the need to over take, the minute you put your foot down we seem to have a splutter and almost as though the petrol has stopped flowing, the gears drop down and there appears to be a couple seconds of nothing clunk (bang) then it picks right back up. I thought is this a gearbox issue but I'm convinced its fuel? it make quite a clunk when this happens, i dont want to get rid of the car because i'm attached sent it in to Mec when it had its big service last week and they found nothing wrong not even on the diagnostic.
Any advice appreciated.
