I get to clean alot of cars these days in my line of work! I thought I'd share this one though with the forum as it is so special.
Another forum member, Neil ( @Neiltodd ) asked me to give his C63 'The Works' treatment. Who was I to refuse and deny myself of the opportunity of preparing 'Beelzebub' himself and the four horsemen of the apocalypse (who I think reside in each of the 4 tailpipes! ;))
So over the last couple of days the work was done. I gave the rear discs a bit of a spruce up as the oem zinc primer coating was starting to go off, the engine bay was cleaned and detailed, the bodywork was cleaned, clay bar decontaminated, the paint then prepared and finally given a ceramic coat. The interior was also finished and detailed.
This really is a mint and special car and it was such a privilege and pleasure for me to be given the opportunity to prepare it.
I think Neil is very pleased with the results - that makes my job worth every second!
(PS. Without this forum I'd not have met Neil and his adorable wife Janice. They have become firm friends of ours also for which I am grateful to this forum!)

... Don't fing so, these are oem discs, they are delivered from MB looking like that. Or do you have yours painted with Hammerite by the dealer!?

Im not sure my client would want his hugely expensive cross-drilled & slotted AMG discs touched with iron gate paint!:D
(tongue in cheek, no offence meant)

... funnily enough, these are the fronts, I haven't touched these, they came from the factory like that..... ;)IMG_20190522_224018.jpg

I love all this OEM poo , the dealer , the dealer... so blinkered.

With wheels if you highlight something silver it detracts from the glory of the show stopper wheels .

The silver AMG caliper is great as it's nicely finished , but if you did it to normal cast iron lumps..

Question is , is that part of the brake disc worth highlighting and does it detract..

Perhaps you should ask its owner if he's blinkered or not, the decision to have the car as it came out of the factory is not mine, its not my car.
I do however wholeheartedly agree with his decision to have the discs refreshed. :)

There are a few places I always check when looking at a new car , under side of sills and doors , inside the door jamb , under the bonnet , and the discs. ;)

... And a well prepared and detailed car should have each one of these spotless! ;)
