G wagons

My husband is a mechanic by trade and knows these inside out, Hes owned one for 25 years

Can't be that much of a mechanic if it's taken 25 years and they are still scrap condition :D

Projects don`t always go smooth

I very much think the add is pretty honest

No tax--- no mot---- no chance!

They are at £3650 already. I think they will generate quite a bit of interest and sell ok.

As far as no tax or Mot, that's how most project cars are bought. I've just bought two more, neither with T&T, in almost exactly similar situation, one is meant to be a runner but lapsed MOT (2 years) and the other is a spares car due to HG failure.
The last one I bought had been off the road six years but MOT's to sell it. it cost a lot more as a result of that test and still needed plenty of work. I'd rather buy without the test, I think.

Should mean 2 go-ers then.. :) I'll know when I see them. That then leaves the next problem...do I really need five cars? :dk:

A mate of mine who was a bit of a collector had 28 cars at one point ( mainly Triumph Heralds and Ford Corsairs - don't ask me why , he just liked them and tried to collect an example of each variant ) . He had a pal who lived on a farm and many of the cars were stored in and around a barn .

I wonder if her husband will swap them for a couple of Suffolk punch lawnmowers-one is 14 years old and both don't run....he he he

G Wagon convertible has got to be one of the coolest Mercs around.

You'd need to know your way around a spanner for these mind. Bit of hard work and you'd have at least one nice machine, probably!
