Gearknob shroud removal CLS 320 2008 (facelift version)

Hi

I need to get the Comand unit out to replace the GPS antenna, and I need to remove the gearstick shroud panel etc, does anyone know how the wood effect panel comes off?

I have attached a picture of the offending peice, I have tried levering it up from the front but I feel it may break if I pull any harder.
