The Engine Management Light on my daughter’s 2014 GLA 200 OM651 engine has come on and the car has gone into limp mode. iCarsoft showed two codes, P023812 and P226322. The codes could not be cleared, suggesting to me a sensor problem rather than a ‘physical’ issue such as a split pipe. I changed the pressure sensor in front of the MAF and the P023812 code cleared but the other one persists. Doing some reading suggests that there is a second sensor, possibly the same part as the first one, but I cannot find it - the engine compartment is very congested. Can anyone help me locate this sensor or suggest an alternative remedy to the problem? Also, is it safe to drive the car in limp mode?
