Gtechnic C5 Exo

I have recently bought a new set of Amg 507 wheels and would like to treat them to C5 and Exo. After treating with C5 How long do I wait before applying the Exo and can I apply two coats of Exo over the C5. Any tips appreciated.

Professional detailers use it on top of Gtechniq C5 It's normally used on car paintwork.

We see very little benefit to adding Exo to C5 on wheels, you are better off double coating the C5 (leave a couple of hours, unless you can infra red cure to speed things up a little) and add a second coat.

Exo is great on paintwork, but won't last as well as C5 will on wheels. It will bead up a little better initially, but this will wear off quicker than a second coat of C5.

Also ensure that you thoroughly clean and degrease the wheels ahead of application of the C5 - Gtechniq Panel Wipe is ideal, after a thorough clean with wheel cleaner, tar remover and fallout remover as required. Hand polishing may be required too, then degrease and apply the C5 using the supplied make up type pads.
